ZTE Axon 20 5G will launch with Under-Display Camera, Not A Prototype Anymore
There was a time when there were no selfie cameras. This time was around the early 2000s. Then came the era of thick bezels which has a tiny black spot on them. This was the time when there was a lot of advancement in the megapixels of the camera, to make the pictures look real-like. Now, we are in the future, and the future has something big in store when it comes to selfie cameras. To be precise the China-based company, ZTE has something in store for us. The company, ZTE is going to launch the successor of ZTE Axon 10 Pro. It would be named the ZTE Axon 20 5G .
The image shows no place for the camera. At first, it was assumed that maybe, this might be a small mistake by the animators/artists who brought this picture alive. But, later, the CEO of ZTE said that it is true that this would be the first phone with an under-display camera.
You have heard it right, a commercially available phone with an under-display camera is coming to us. This would be a start of a new trend, a new era of this camera design. Soon, every company would be trying to bring this feature. Imagine how it would be like not having that little, tiny dot on the top. Thinking about it itself, is giving me chills. The company says that they are ready to launch this device after testing. One thing to notice would be the advancement that would allow the lens to take pictures of things even in front of the screen. This is just revolutionary and transformational.
Coming into the specifications of the special screen that ZTE Axon 20 5G would house. The panel would be developed by the biggest OLED manufacturer in China, I.e., Visionox. The company says that they have done all the enhancements and optimizations that they could do. But there would be no 4K or 1080p functionality that the users would look out for. Yet, this device having the under-display camera lens would still be something fantasizing.
The other leak that has been speculated about ZTE Axon 20 5G is that it would have a 64 megapixel shooter at the back and the under-display lens would be 32 megapixels. This device would be powered by the Snapdragon 765G. The reason the company would probably not use the Snapdragon 865 SoC might be the cost that they want to reduce. The ZTE Axon 20 Pro would be launched on the 1st of September. This innovative technology would be something revolutionary and worth seeing. Let us see how ZTE pulls it off.
