Xiaomi has revealed its latest wireless charging technology through a blog post. This wireless charging technology is announced in such a way that it’s the fastest among the charging technologies around now. Xiaomi currently has a wireless charger which offers a fast charging rate of 55 W which was introduced in August along with the Mi 10 Ultra, a smartphone which supports 50 W rates. Xiaomi created the latest 80 W fast charger which would top up a battery in 19 minutes (claimed). Though there are leaks and rumors about Xiaomi 80W fast wireless charging technology.
As per Xiaomi, the wireless charging technology could fill a 4,000 mAh battery to 10% in 1 minutes, 50% in 8 minutes and 100% in 19 minutes. In comparison of 2019s Mi wireless charging technology was capable of charging a similar battery to 50% in about 25 minutes, and 100% in 69 minutes.
The Vice President of the company has posted a video, which gives visual information about the latest wireless charging technology and claims that this latest wireless charger would break the world record since it is twice as fast as the 40W Huawei Super Charge Wireless Stand which is the next in line. Through the video we could get the knowledge that the charger looks similar to the current one.
Xiaomi in order to develop this design, have introduced the most efficient charging architecture with a dedicated chip and an independent coil system to provide this unbelievable 80W wireless charging speed. Xiaomi is introducing newer technologically developed charging equipment for the past few months. The next launch of Xiaomi would be Mi 11 which may support the Snapdragon 875 SoC and is to be launched in January. Xiaomi is recently putting an effort to create a new wired fast charging standard that could also provide 120W charge to phones which is similar to that found in Mi 10 Ultra.
