Xiaomi, a company that makes smart electronics, recently announced two new smart products in China. Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition and Mi TV ES 2022 smart TVs were announced during a conference held by Xiaomi earlier today.
Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition
Talking about the specification of the Mi TV 6 EE, it features a slim and lightweight design. The smart TV comes with a 4K QLED display supported by a 120Hz refresh rate and is provided by 3D LUT film industrial-grade colour correction technology. The display offers brightness up to 1,200 nits and 10.7 billion colours. The device is powered by a MediaTek MT9950 processor and runs on 4.5GB of RAM supported by 64GB of storage.
The smart TV comes with a dual AI camera setup with the primary sensor being 48MP. Also, an audio system of 100W supports sound quality. The Extreme Edition TVs sport a full metal body with ultra-thin bezels and features HDMI 2.1 + VRR and Dolby Vision for an enhanced gaming experience. The smart TVs will come in three different size variants, a 55-inch, a 65-inch and a 75-inch model.
Mi TV ES 2022
Coming to the Mi TV ES 2022, it comes with an HDR 10+ display offering 94% DCI-P3 colour gamut. The smart TV is powered by the MediaTek MT9638 processor and runs on 2GB RAM supported by 32 of storage. The sound system comes with two-channel 12.5W four-unit speakers and it also supports stereo playback sound. The Mi TV ES 2022 features Xiao AI voice assistance. Talking about the connectivity options, it supports Bluetooth v5, Wi-Fi, 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, 1 ATV/DTMB, 1 AV port, and one S/PDIF input port.
Price and Availability
The Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition 55-inch model costs CNY 5,999 (approx. Rs 68,900), the 65-inch model costs CNY 7,999 (approx. Rs 91,900) and the biggest 75-inch model costs CNY 9,999 (approx. Rs 1,14,800).
55-inch variant of the Mi TV ES 2022 priced at CNY 3,399 (approx. Rs 39,000), the 65-inch variant is priced at CNY 4,399 (approx. Rs 50,500) and the last 75-inch variant is priced at CNY 5,999 (approx. Rs 68,900).
The Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition and Mi TV ES 2022 smart TVs will be open for sale from July 9, however, people can pre-order the TVs on Mi.com.
