A couple of weeks ago Xiaomi has hinted at the arrival of Mi 11 Lite in India. Earlier this Friday Xiaomi’s CEO Manu Kumar Jain also teased the Chinese smartphone through a Twitter poll. This rumor created heavy chaos as in China Mi 11 Lite is available in both 4G and 5G and it wasn’t clear whether the company was launching both. Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G features Qualcomm Snapdragon 732 SoC, where Mi 11 Lite 5G runs over Snapdragon 780 SoC.
However, an exclusive report by India Today Tech stated that only the 4G version of Mi 11 Lite is coming to India. The starting price of this smartphone will be under 25,000. It is available in three different configurations such as 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage.
Initially, rumors took users into a hope that Xiaomi would bring the 5G version of Mi 11 Lite in India. But soon this exclusive report by India Today Tech put an end to the confusion. Xiaomi’s decision not to bring the 5G version in India is a strategic move. Mi 11 Lite 5G’s global market price 369 euros – 399 euros (i.e. Rs.32,840 – Rs.35,509). Xiaomi is already selling a 5G version of Mi 11X at a price of Rs.29,999 in India.
As far as the features of Mi 11 Lite are concerned it has a slim body with a thickness of 6.81 mm, that weighs 157 grams. This device has a touchscreen display of 6.5-inches with gorilla glass 5 protection. There will be a 64-megapixel primary camera on the Mi 11 Lite, a wide-angle lens of 8-megapixels, and a macro lens of 5-megapixels. The Mi 11 Lite is expected to have a 16MP front camera. Battery capacity for this smartphone is likely to be 4,200mAh.
