Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra will be launched at company’s 10th Anniversary launch event

Xiaomi Corporation is a Chinese electronics company. The company was founded on 6th April 2010. The company has completed ten successful years in the market. Xiaomi is hosting a 10th anniversary launch on 11th August. In this launch event, the company has planned to launch the most premium model of the Mi 10 series. Previously, the device was reported to be called Mi 10 Pro Plus. But now, Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun, has confirmed on Weibo that the upcoming Mi 10 series phone will be called Mi 10 Ultra. Redmi K30 Ultra will also be unveiled. Also, it is tipped to feature MediaTek’s latest and greatest SoC, the Dimensity 1000+. Along with these devices there will also be many products the company has planned for the event.

The phone will be called Mi 10 Supreme Commemorative Edition, in China. The phone will be called so to commemorate the 10 years of Xiaomi’s venture. Also, the CEO has shared a China retail box image for the device, and it has the Xiaomi 10th anniversary logo. Initially, the phone will be available in China. It is likely to be available in other markets very soon.

Mi 10 Ultra will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus processor. The phone is said to come with a full HD+ AMOLED display. It will have a 120Hz refresh rate. Tipster TechDroider has leaked official cases of the Mi 10 Ultra. The case revealed that the phone will have an elongated capsule-shaped rear camera module. The camera will be placed on the top left portion of the back panel.

The phone will have four variants:  

  • 8GB RAM + 128GB in-built storage
  • 8GB RAM + 256GB in-built storage
  • 12GB RAM + 256GB in-built storage
  • 16GB RAM + 512GB in-built storage

  • Ceramic Back
  • Bright Silver
  • Transparent Back

The posters of Mi 10 Ultra have also leaked online. The posters revealed that the device will have a quad camera setup with cameras placed one below the other. The device will also have a 120x digital zoom up from Mi 10 Pro’s 100x. The device will have 4x optical zoom. The phone can have 4,500mAh battery with up to 120W fast charging. It can also support 55W fast wireless charging.

Based on the details leaked so far, it can be said that Mi 10 Ultra is going to be a big upgrade over the Mi 10. Mi 10 is available for purchase at Rs.49,999.
