WhatsApp will allow you to review voice messages soon – Android Beta 2.21.12.7

Messaging app WhatsApp is now set to roll out its new feature which will allow the users to review and listen to their voice messages before they are sent. The feature is currently under development for only iOS devices as reported by WABetaInfo but it is expected that it will be available to Android users in the future as well. WhatsApp has planned to roll out this feature with its new beta update for Android 2.21.12.7 in order to make reviewing of voice messages much easier and accessible than before.

This new feature will be assisted with another new feature that has been introduced recently by this Facebook-owned social media giant called Fast Playback which allows users of this app to listen to long voice messages in short time duration by increasing the playback speed of the voice messages. With this feature users can speed up the voice message by 1x, 1.5x or 2x and that too without any change in the pitch of the voice message.

Another information that has been provided by the company is that the new update will provide a stop button which will allow users to resume listening to the voice message once they hit it. Only a cancel button is available currently which deletes the entire voice message. The company in an official statement said, “These days we need all the time-saving tips and tricks we can find. This is why voice messages on WhatsApp are a particularly useful tool for people short on time, who are multitasking, or who have friends and family in different time zones.”

This new WhatsApp feature will ease the voice messaging experience of the users who can now review their voice messages as well as will be acquainted with other features like controlling playback speed and having the availability of the stop button. The company is expected to reveal more details regarding the new update in the near future.
