Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has reportedly begun its preparation for the launch of its new smartphone – the Vivo Y73 2021, which is a mid-range mobile under its Y-series, with the brand releasing a teaser ahead of its launch. The company had listed the new smartphone as ‘coming soon’ on its official website and today Vivo officially announced the launch date of Vivo Y73 2021. The launch will take place on June 10 at 12 p.m.
The poster that has been released by the company today shows the rear panel of the display which also houses a rectangular camera panel and has textured design. The Vivo Y73 2021 edition smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek octa-core 12nm Helio G95 SoC processor.
Vivo will launch multiple memory options as well according to the reports, with the processor being coupled with 8GB of RAM. Also, it will have a built-in storage of 128GB. For 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, the price will be Rs 20,999 as per several reports.
For seamless graphic experience, the Vivo Y73 will be equipped with a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC and will also feature a 6.44 inch AMOLED display along with Full HD, a 408ppi pixel density and full HDR 10 support. There are also rumours that the smartphone comes with a touchscreen display that has a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels.
The smartphone has a triple camera setup at the rear with a primary camera sensor of 64 MP as per reports though the exact configuration is still debatable. The front will have a fingerprint reader sensor, proximity sensor, an accelerometer and an ambient light sensor too.
The smartphone will come with a microSD card support for expandable storage and it will support Android 11 based FuntouchOS 11 in terms of software. The Vivo Y73 2021 will also house a battery of 4,000mAh with a support for 33W fast charging. As far as the connectivity is concerned, the smartphone will support 802.11 ac Wi-fi, bluetooth 5.0, 4G and dual-SIM. More details are expected to be released by the company soon.
