Vivo Y51A gets a new 6GB RAM variant, priced at Rs. 16,990
Previously this year, Vivo revealed the Y51A smartphone with single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant and received a positive response from the audience. The Y51A is a scaled down version of its predecessor Y51, and the device available at a slightly reduced price with somewhat similar features. The model is already available at Flipkart and Amazon in India. This promises to be a really powerful smartphone due to its processor. But, now the company launched another variant for Vivo Y51A smartphone that will feature a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also continues the trend of launching the toned down version of a smartphone which the companies have been following lately.
In terms of the specifications, it comes with a FHD+ 6.58 Inch screen display with a resolution of 1080×2040 pixels. Android 11 based and powered by the Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset, it comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage which can be expanded upto 1TB with the use of a microSD card. It is a dual-sim phone which measures 163.86×75.32×8.38 mm weighing a mere 188 grams.
It supports fast charging and features a 5000mAh battery and the connectivity options include bluetooth, GPS, 3G,4G, FM Radio, WiFi, and a USB Type-C port. Other sensors include a gyroscope, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and a fingerprint sensor.
For the camera, it supports auto focus on the rear camera. It also packs a triple rear setup of 48MP primary shooter with f/1.79 aperture, 8MP second camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP camera with a f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, it dons a 16MP front shooter with a f/2.0 aperture.
Vivo offers Titanium sapphire and Crystal symphony colours for Vivo Y51A. The 6GB+128GB variant of Vivo Y51A costs around Rs. 16,990 while the 8GB+128GB variant costs Rs. 17,990. It also includes zero down payment options offered from ICICI bank, Home credit, TVS credit and Bajaj finance among others. Successor to its January 2021 launch, the Y51A hopes to attract more customers due to its reduced and affordable price in the Indian smartphone market.
