Vivo introduced its Vivo Y73 smartphone at the beginning of this month. While the buzz for Vivo’s Y73 hasn’t even died yet, another smartphone has already been launched in the Indian market: the V21e 5G. Live streaming of the launch event for the Vivo V21e 5G began at 5 p.m. on Vivo’s official Instagram page.
The launch event unveiled some major Vivo V21e 5G specifications, and by looks of them, it seems like that the V21e 5G has all the potential to become the next flagship smartphone of the company.
The V21e 5G comes in an ultra-sleek 3D design model with a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,400×1,080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and runs on the Android 11 based Funtouch OS 11.1. The device features 8GB RAM with 128 GB of storage which can be further extended by using an SD card of up to 1TB.
The smartphone sports an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Vivo V21e 5G is backed up by a 4000mAh battery supported by 44W flash charging from a Type-C charger. The company has claimed that flash charging enables the smartphone to get up to 72% charged in just 30 minutes.
Talking about the camera, the Vivo V21e comes with a dual-camera setup at the rear with a 64MP primary sensor (f/1.79 aperture) and an 8MP wide-angle sensor (f/2.2 aperture). At the front, it comes with a 32MP (f/2.0 aperture) selfie shooter.

The smartphone will be available in two different colours, Dark Pearl and Sunset Jazz. Also, body dimension and weight are slightly different for different colour variants. The Dark Pearl variant measures 7.67×73.91×160.63mm and weighs 165 grams whereas the Sunset Jazz variant measures 7.79×73.91×160.63 mm and weighs 167 grams.
The tagged Price for the Vivo V21e 5G in the Indian market is Rs. 29,990. However, the smartphone is available at Amazon at an off-price of Rs 24,990.
