Vivo Communication Technology Co. Ltd. is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer company. It is owned by BBK Electronics. BBK Electronics also owns also owns Oppo, Realme and OnePlus. Recently Vivo launched Vivo X50 Pro in the country, which is known for its Gimbal Cameras. And now Vivo is all set to launch Vivo S7 on August 3 in the Chinese market. It is just a week away from now. It posted a teaser video on the social media site Weibo revealing the device’s looks and some key specifications. And the video gave a hint that the device will have a slim looking design and it can be available in purple shade.
Processors & RAM
The device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC. And it will run on Android 10. It will have 8GB Ram. There can be two variations for internal storage, one will be 128GB and the other will be 256GB. The device will not support expandable storage.
Display Specifications:
It is expected to come with a 6.4-inch full-HD+ AMOLED curved display with resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and pixel density of 403 pixel per inch. The display will be protected by Gorilla Glass. The weight of the phone is going to be 170g. It can have a punch-hole display.
Camera Highlights:
Now, if we talk about camera features, the rear of the device has a rectangular camera cutout. On the back it will have triple camera, a 64-megapixel primary shooter with ISOCELL GH1 Sensor, a second 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a super-wide-angle lens and a third 13-megapixel camera. It will have a dual camera on front, a 44-megapixel primary camera, and 8-megapixel tertiary sensor with a portrait lens.The phone will also have LED Flash and will support image resolution of 9000 x 7000 Pixels.
Vivo S7 will offer various shooting modes:
- Continuous Shooting which will allow multiple photographs to be taken within a short time frame and in rapid succession.
- High Dynamic Range mode (HDR).
Along with this it will have camera features like Auto Focus, Auto Flash, Face detection, and Touch to focus. And all this feature makes it look like a phone which packs powerful cameras.
Battery and Connectivity:
Vivo S7 is likely to pack an 4500mAh non- removable Li-ion battery with 33-watt fast charging which will increase the current sent to the battery to fill up its capacity quicker.
It will have In-Display Fingerprint Sensors, Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Face unlock, and Magnetometer. The phone will support connectivity features like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth, USB Type C and many more. It will allow dual nano sims.
As for now, there is no news regarding the launch of this smartphone in India. The confirmed price is also yet to be known. This smartphone will face competition from recent launches like OnePlus Nord, Redmi Note 9, Apple iPhone 7. As a result, it will have to stand-out with its good features and affordable price to make place in market.
