Upcoming MacBook Pro models are expected to feature a 1080p webcam

The US-based technological giant Apple is supposed to unveil its brand new MacBook Pro 2021 models by the end of the year. Customers have gotten several key specifications of the upcoming MacBooks through multiple leaks on various websites. These Pro MacBooks will supposedly come with mini-LED displays in 14-inch and 16-inch screen sizes.  However, the firm is still tight-lipped about the launch date of the forthcoming forerunner product.

Now, in a recent development, a leakster @dylandkt, has made a prediction which claims that the gadget will have an upgrade in its webcam. The tipster has shared a tweet in which he mentioned that the upcoming MacBook Pros will be receiving an updated and improved 1080p webcam, especially in comparison to Apple’s existing 720p “FaceTime HD” camera on the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models. All upcoming Mac lineups (like M1 Pro Laptop and others) will come incorporated with the upgraded version of the webcam, as claimed by the leakster.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro was rumored to be released last year; however, it turned out to be a revamped version of the existing 13-inch model. This variant of the Apple Pro model should be supposed to come with a similar thickness and size as that of the present 13-inch model but with thinner bezels. The device is also supposed to come incorporated with a headphone connector, and four Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports. Both 14-inch and 16-inch models are expected to be integrated with M2 or M1X, an improved version of the M1 processor. This new processor is supposed to enable up to 64GB of RAM, in contradiction to the 16GB limit of the existing M1 processor.

A revamped chassis and magnetic charging are also expected on the next flagship Pro models. The gadgets are expected to have a battery with pretty good backup offering a full working day of battery life. The Pro models are also rumored to include more ports such as SD card slots and HDMI ports. However, the inclusion of an HDMI port is quite improbable and it may prove to be rumors only. According to a recent report, Apple is planning to discontinue the Touch Bar and this is one speculation that has now been confirmed by the firm’s analyst sources.
