Tecno Phantom X to be launched in July 2021, will not support 5G

Tecno Phantom X, the flagship model of the company comes with a spectacular design. Earlier this year, company launched the Tecno Spark 7T in India at a price of Rs. 9,000, featuring a huge 6000mAh battery. The pre-orders of the Spark 7T had already started from the 15th of June. But now Tecno announced another smartphone with flagship specifications and expected to be available globally in the coming month of July 2021. The company has not revealed anything on the aspects of pricing and availability. With a curvy display and slim forehead, it promises to be an exciting flagship of the company.

In terms of the specifications, the Tecno Phantom X runs on Android 11 and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 chipset. The disappointing part about this is that it is a 4G device and will not support 5G. Featuring 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage which can be expanded with a microSD card. A lightweight phone with a thickness of 8.72mm, it also does not compromise on its build quality having a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. 

Featuring a 6.67 inch FHD+ OLED super AMOLED panel, it displays 1080×2340 pixels. It also has a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone measures 163.5×73.7×8.72 mm. It supports 33W fast charging and comes with a whopping 4700mAh battery. The device also offers an under-display fingerprint scanner, a gyroscope, Ambient light sensor and a proximity sensor as well. The connectivity options of this smartphone include Bluetooth 5.0, FM Radio, WiFi, LTE, GPS and USB Type-C port. 

The Tecno Phantom X comes with a triple rear camera set-up, a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.85 lens, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens containing 120 degree FoV, and 13MP portrait lens. For the front camera, it has a dual set-up of 48MP camera and a 8MP ultra wide sensor that is supported by LED flash. The company says that the camera will also contain a Super Night View 3.0 and 20x Zoom. 

The smartphone will launch with two different colour schemes of Monet’s Summer and Starry Night Blue. As mentioned earlier, the Chinese Smartphone manufacturer has not revealed the details on the aspects of its availability and its pricing.
