Sony launched its new flagship headset WH-1000XM4. The headset is finally here after having so many leaks and rumours. This was the much awaited headset from the company after it’s predecessor the Sony WH-1000XM3. The WH-1000XM3 was named as the best headphones of 2020 by many. Everyone loved the features offered on that headset and the technology used on it. Well the WH-1000XM4 comes with a similar Design and improved noise cancellation technology, better sensors and Bluetooth 5 connectivity.
This Sony headset Sony WH-1000XM4 will be competing with headsets like Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700, Shure Aonic 50, and Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless headphones that have been launched recently.
Sony states that this headset has the industry leading noise cancellation. It has the QN1 noise cancelling processor, the same as the one in WH-1000XM3. This headphone offers dual noise sensor technology, microphones on both sides of the ear cups. It also has intuitive touch control settings on the outer part to control things away from your phone.
The DSEE extreme upscales the audio in real time according to the music genre and instrument type with the exceptional audio quality. They automatically adjust the ambient sound by knowing the atmosphere around you. As Sony explains, “over time, Adaptive Sound Control learns to recognize locations that you frequently visit such as your workplace, gym or favorite cafe, and tailors sound to suit the situation”. Now you can not hear the ones you don’t want to and only hear the ones you need to. Yes it automatically detects if anything is important to hear.
