Sony puts the Xperia 1 III up for pre-order in the US with free WF-1000XM3 earbuds

Japanese tech manufacturer Sony is soon launching its new flagship smartphone Sony Xperia 1 III. Finally, after its announcement two months back, the new smartphone is now available for pre-order booking in the US. However, the company confirmed that the official market launch is scheduled for August 19. 

Sony has played a very smart business move as the company is offering exciting deals for early bookers of Sony Xperia 1 III. The company will offer its WF-1000XM3 truly wireless earbuds for free on a pre-order for the coming flagship smartphones. In addition to the free WF-1000XM3 wireless earbuds, early birds will also earn 43,200 Call of Duty Mobile CP points. Pre-order can be done by two sites, Sony and B&H with both giving COD CP points of different worth, $540 and $700, respectively.

Coming to the features and specifications of the upcoming Sony Xperia 1 III, it comes with a 6.5-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1644×3840 pixels. The display is supported by a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 888 processor and sports 12GB RAM along with 256/512 GB of storage which by the way is further expandable. The Xperia 1 III runs on Android 11 and is backed up by a 4,500 mAh battery supported by 30 W fast charging. It also supports wireless charging. 

The new flagship for Sony, Xperia 1 III is announced to open for sale in the global market on the 19th of August. For pre-booking, buyers can approach via two social sites.  First is Sony’s official online store and the second is B&H. Both the sites offer you slightly different price ranges also. Sony store will offer you the smartphone at $ 1,299.99, while on the other hand, B&H offers the smartphone at a relatively less price of $ 1,298.
