South Korean electronic giant, LG has become a pretty popular smartphone brand. While maybe not the best in the market, they provide a good value for money to users. The current market has a lot of attention on the middle range segment. Accordingly, mid-tier 5G smartphone handsets from all sorts of smartphone brands are popping up left, right and center. And LG is no different either. They have ambitious plans to expand in this mid-tier smartphone segment. Now, LG has officially revealed Snapdragon 765G SoC powered LG Q92 5G in market.
It has not even been a complete month that LG had recently launched its LG Velvet 5G that they unveiled back in June. But this device was priced on a slightly higher side. However, those sad due to the high price, fret not. Because they just recently announced the LG Q92 5G model in their home country. It is a more affordable version of the LG Velvet 5G. Let us have a look at its features. What does the latest unveiled LG Q92 5G handset have in store for us?
The latest addition to the Q series, the LG Q92 5G has a LCD panel with a 6.67 inch full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) punch hole (at the centre top) display with 20:9 aspect ratio. The handset is available in white, dark blue and red color variations for users to choose from. The side panel has a fingerprint scanner mounted on it as well.
Processor and Connectivity
Under the hood, the LG Q92 5G runs on an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC chip set. It is paired with a 6 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM for internal storage. And it can also be expanded up to 2 TB using a micro SD card. It runs on Android 10-based UX 9.0 out of the box and offers the LG UX 9 interface.
The handset draws power from a 4,000 mAh battery. Moreover there is support for 15W fast charging for a faster battery charging. A USB Type C port facilitates charging the device.
Other connectivity features include support for dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/c, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, 5G and a headphone jack as well.
The LG Q92 5G has a quad rear camera set up for photography lovers. Further, this comprises a 48 MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, a 8 MP (f/2.2) ultra wide angle lens for wide angle photography, a 5 MP (f/2.4) depth sensor for portrait photography along with a 2 MP (f/2.4) macro camera lens as well. The front side has a 32 MP (f/1.9) selfie camera too.
Recently launched in the South Korean market, the latest LG Q92 5G has a price of KRW 4,99,000. This basically translates to about INR 31,121. Further, it will go on sales in South Korea, come 26th August.
So, as it turns out, the latest LG Q series addition has only been launched for its South Korean users at the moment.
