Sharp announces its Aquos R6 with world’s first 1-inch camera sensor

You may not know this smartphone brand but, they are making impressive smartphones nowadays. This is Sharp, Japanese smartphone manufacturers, and today they announced their latest flagship smartphone, the Sharp Aquos R6. The design of this smartphone is very similar to Samsung’s smartphone devices. Nowadays, cameras come with three-four cameras at the back, but this device comes with only a sensor. We designate it as a supreme-level smartphone as it’s the world’s first 1-inch camera sensor with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that carries a dual-finger unlocking feature.

The device was initially launched in the home nation, i.e., Japan, including massive features. It has a Snapdragon 888, a 5000mAh battery, 240Hz refresh rate, and other significant features. It is the world’s first smartphone with a one-inch photo CMOS sensor. According to the manufacturer, this sensor is five times larger than its previous phones, which comes with enhanced focusing power. The manufacturer also states that the lens uses a seven-element Leica Summicron, which can take full-scale images in high resolutions. The primary camera with a one-inch photo CMOS sensor comes with approximately 20.20 MP along with the ToF and the secondary camera comes with about 12.6 MP and an LED flash.

According to Sharp, the AQUOS R6 arrives with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner to guarantee better security. Sharp says that the authentication feature is wider than the previous model. The device comes with a dual-finger authentication feature that ensures the payments and account management is safer. In their official website, they have mentioned, “The fingerprint sensor of AQUOS R6 is equipped with “Qualcomm 3D Sonic Max” which is 11 times larger than the conventional ones and the largest size in the world. At the forefront, the device has a 6.6 inch WUXGA along with Pro IGZO OLED with a resolution of 1,260 x 2,730 pixels and a 240Hz refresh rate. From the inside, the smartphone features the Snapdragon 888 5G chipset, with 12GB RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone runs on Android 11 and also has an IPX8 certification which makes it waterproof and dustproof.
