Samsung launched the new Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra – Specifications
Samsung just released two new phones into the note series, the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in it’s galaxy unpacked event. The Devices feature amazing high end features with great quality and surely wins over all other competitors. Let us see what new features they put on the Galaxy Note 20 series.
They have put the high screen refresh rate of 120hz for the buttery smooth experience on Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. While standard Galaxy Note 20 offers 60Hz of screen refresh rate and 1080p resolution. The latency speed of the S-Pen is reduced too because of the fast refresh rate.
The Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O Display on Galaxy Note20 Ultra delivers 1500 nits for a colorful, glare-free view, even in bright daylight. To protect the lovely screen they have put the strongest glass on a smartphone built by Gorilla Glass 7 and is named as Gorilla Glass Victus.
Both Note 20 and Note 20 ultra have three cameras on the back and one camera on the front. Among the triple rear cameras they have put 12MP Ultra Wide Camera, 108MP Wide-angle Camera, 12MP Telephoto Camera and a 10MP Selfie Camera. The device supports 8k recording with added pro mode for amazing movie type of video recordings. Also improved low light photography.
Talking about the S-Pen they have worked so much to reduce the latency speed so that you will feel the same like you are writing on a paper. The screen will predict the next possible point the Pen will be on and make it work faster. For those who love writing with the S-Pen, now you will love it more. The screen on the Note 20 is flat while on the Note 20 Ultra, well it is the edge.
Both the devices are powered by the most powerful processors currently. Both the device offers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ / Exynos 990 and the device is perfect for work and gaming. The powerful processor is paired with up-to 12gb of RAM. Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra can hold over 1TB total with up to 256GB built-in and up to 1TB expandable memory via microSD card. About the Audio, the built in Stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos give you a better sound experience.
Note 20 series is encrypted using Samsung’s KNOX. Both devices have facial recognition and ultrasonic fingerprint sensors for security. The IP68 dust and water resistance Keeps your phone safe from splashes, drips, and up to 1.5 meters of water for around 30 minutes.
Samsung provides more features inside their ecosystem. Last year they collaborated with Microsoft to enhance user experience especially for multitasking. The link to windows feature links your phone directly accessible from your windows 10 PC or laptop. You can even use the apps on your phone straight from your computer. This is a feature every phone deserves to be on. In the ecosystem there is another feature called the Samsung Dex, using this you can connect your phone to your TV or any other device and share your phone screen on to the big screen. About the battery on the Note series, it has a battery of 4500mAh capacity on Note 20 Ultra and 4300mAh on Note 20 that keeps you running all day and also supports super-fast charging of 25W that gets your phone to 50% from flat in just 30 minutes. The device also supports fast wireless charging 2.0. The reverse charging which Samsung named power share lets you charge other devices wirelessly.
Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra variants:
The galaxy note 20 has a 6.7” flat infinity O display and weighs 192gm while the galaxy note 20 Ultra has a 6.9” edge infinity O display and weighs 208gm.
The colors available on the Note 20 are Mystic Bronze, Mystic Green and Mystic Gray and on the Note 20 Ultra there are Mystic Bronze and Mystic black. The Mystic Bronze color is the one many users loved.
Both the devices will be available from August 21 with 5G network supported at $999 for Note 20 and $1299 for the Ultra.
