Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has been unavailable on its US website for some time
The smartphone tech giant, Samsung launched its Galaxy Z Fold 2 last year in September. The foldable smartphone can be aligned both vertically and horizontally as per users comfort. Also, the smartphone is packed with amazing features making it the company’s foldable flagship smartphone.
However, recently it was discovered that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 has disappeared from the official US site of Samsung. If you now try to search for the device on Samsung’s US website, you’ll receive a message saying, “Galaxy Z Fold 2 is no longer available for purchase.”
Samsung issued a statement by saying the device is not discontinued yet and the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is now available on Samsung US website, look like it was a bug.
Nevertheless, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is still available at AT&T and Best Buy. It will be interesting to know if the device will remain on this website or not, in future.
There could be two possible reasons for the disappearance of Galaxy Z Fold 2. First, we can assume that the Fold 2 is greatly appreciated in the market and people are liking it a lot, resulting in the company being out of stock. The second and most expected reason can be that the company is planning to launch the successor for this device, the next-generation Galaxy Z Fold 3.
So in order to make the Galaxy Fold 3’s entry exciting, the company might slowly phase out the current flagship Galaxy Z Fold 2.
According to some reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 might be unveiled in the first week of August and then get launched at the end of the same month. Considering this, it is amusing to think about what Samsung is planning by disappearing the current Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, almost 2 months before the next arrival.
