We previously reported that Evan Blass managed to leak the first renders for Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. These renders surfaced last week and created a lot of buzz in the tech world. However, GizNext has been leaking more design and information about the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and design and specifications can be guessed easily. There are no official details from Samsung regarding this, but what the Flip 3 holds is spectacular.
As per the leaks, the Flip 3 will have a different color design, and this includes it having a two-tone color rather than a single tone color. It will also have a more prominent cover display, cutting down on the bezels, and this is the display visible when the flip is down.
In addition, Samsung has also expanded its color palette regarding the different color options for the Flip 3. The designs have been leaked in these various colors: Beige, Gray, Black, Pink, Dark Blue, White, Light Violet, Dark Green. The variety this time is much wider than last time around, which makes Samsung more accommodating of different tastes, as they are offering something for everyone.
More updates regarding the Galaxy Z Flip 3 will be revealed in a Samsung event sometime at the start of August. It is rumored that the event will also accommodate the launch of Galaxy Z Fold 3, the Galaxy Watch 4, and Galaxy Buds 2. It will be launched in the U.S markets first and priced somewhere around $1000, making it a pretty premium phone like its other predecessors.
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 will support wireless fast charging and have a battery capacity of 3273mAh, which is relatively low compared to the other phones currently circulating in the market. It will also come with a Snapdragon 888 chipset, the same as the Galaxy S21 series. However, unlike other recent phones released by Samsung, this phone only sports a Dual-Camera. In addition, the phone will also be IP67 water-resistant.
Some of the phone’s other specifications include a 120Hz refresh rate, 6.7-inch display with a 25:9 aspect ratio that can accommodate high resolutions. It will also come with 8GB RAM of memory and 128GB of storage. Samsung also allegedly claims that it will improve camera performance despite it just being a Dual-camera.
All eyes are pinned towards the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 3. And how well it will perform as a new innovative concept that Samsung has been working with since February 2020. Will the successor of the Flip 2 be more robust in the market or not?
