Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE with Snapdragon 750G SoC launched

Much awaited Samsung’s latest fan edition Galaxy Tab S7 FE received an official launch in Germany (which was done rather quietly). Earlier the tab was rumoured to be launched as Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ Lite, as the forerunner tablet of Galaxy Tab S7 & S7+ series. However, the company, Samsung went overboard with Galaxy Tab S7 FE, to blend the naming idea of its phones with tablets.

It comes with trimmed features as compared to Galaxy Tab S7+, but if you don’t mind making a few compromises, then it’s perfect. Moving on to Galaxy Tab S7 FE specifications, it features a 12.4-inch 2560x1600p LCD touchscreen display with 60Hz screen refresh rate. It runs on Android 11 and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G octa-core SoC chipset coupled with 4GB RAM.

It holds out a 64GB internal storage, expendable up to 1 TB using a microSD card. Equipped with 10,090mAh battery with 45W fast charging support, which ensures to charge the tab from 0% to 100% in approx. 150-190 minutes, claims the company. It offers two colour variants Mystic Black & Mystic Silver as spotted on Samsung’s website.

Galaxy Tab S7 FE comes with an 8MP main rear sensor with 1080 pixel video recording at 30 fps & a 5MP selfie sensor at front. It comes with S Pen & external keyboard support with preinstalled Clip Studio application (with 6 months free trial period). It also supports Samsung DeX, so you can enjoy a desktop experience via your tab.

It measures about 284.8 x 185 x 6.3 mm in dimensions and weighs 608g. For connectivity, Tab S7 FE supports 5G., Bluetooth v5, USB Type-C port, and Gigabit Wi-Fi.

It is priced at EUR 649, which is roughly around Rs. 57,800, however, reports suggest that Samsung may launch another variant with 6GB+128Gb storage option or another one without 5G support & less price.
