Samsung Galaxy F22 with MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, 90Hz Display launched in India

The wait for the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy F22 is now over as the South Korean tech giant has launched the smartphone in the Indian market today. Samsung unveiled the smartphone during a virtual launch event today at 12 noon. Samsung also announced that the Galaxy F22 will be available on Samsung online stores, Flipkart and select retail stores.

The Galaxy F22 comes with a 6.4-inch super AMOLED Infinity-U display supported by a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 processor and comes in two different variants, 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. Moreover, storage can be further expanded using a MicroSD card up to 1 TB. The handset runs on the Android 11 based One UI Core 3.1 OS and features dual sim support. Galaxy F22 is backed up by a massive 6,000mAh battery supported by 15W fast charging.

Talking about the camera, the Galaxy F22 sports a quad-camera setup at the rear consisting of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, the smartphone holds a 13MP sensor for selfies and video calls.

For connectivity, the smartphones feature Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, GPS, 4G, voice over LTE, a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C slot. And for security, the smartphone features a side fingerprint sensor as well as you can also unlock your device by face recognition.

The Samsung Galaxy F22 will be available in two different colours namely, Denim Black and Denim Blue. The smartphone will go on sale from the 13th of July at 12 noon, at a starting price of Rs. 11,499. As mentioned earlier, people can buy the smartphone from official Samsung stores, Flipkart and select retail stores all over India.
