Samsung Galaxy A03s appears on Wi-Fi Alliance Certification
The Samsung Galaxy A03s could be launching in India very soon in the near future as the smartphone has received its certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and Wi-Fi Alliance. It is expected to be the successor of the Galaxy A02s released earlier last year. Moreover, the Galaxy A03s also featured on the bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) website. The smartphone appeared with the model number of SM-A037F/DS and SM-A037F on Wi-Fi Alliance certification website on July 6.
None of the specs, price, colours have been revealed or officially communicated. However, the phone has appeared on Geekbench since its certification and there have been some leaks on the aspects of design and specs. Now, it has also been spotted on the WiFi alliance certification site and some reports showed the renders of the leaked design of the smartphone.
In terms of the specifications, the Galaxy A03s is expected to run on Android 11 based One UI 3.1 and will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, which appeared by the codename of ARM MT6765V/WB on the Geekbench website. It is expected to be equipped with an octa-core processor which is paired with 4GB RAM with 32GB internal storage expandable upto 512GB.
Reportedly, the phone will boast a 6.5 inch LCD FHD+ display (720×1600 pixels) with a notch for a 5MP camera for selfies. It will feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 13MP primary shooter and two 2MP cameras. It will also have a side mounted fingerprint sensor and connectivity options include a USB-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The smartphone is said to measure 166.6×75.9×9.1 mm. At the moment, not much is known about the battery and charging details but reports suggest that it will contain a 5200 mAh and will support 18W fast charging.
Tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer, leaked some designs of the smartphone online and based on those pictures, it appears to be very similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy A02s. Samsung has a broad range of smartphones to offer and this phone particularly might not be their focus at the moment and the company also has not provided any official details regarding the price and launch of the smartphone.
