Reliance Jio is reportedly going to offer free IPL 2020 live streaming on its recharge plans. Jio and Star India have come to an agreement which will allow subscribers of select Jio mobile plans to watch IPL 2020 for free. Jio’s high-speed, JioFiber will also provide free IPL 2020 streaming on one plan. That is amazing news. Some days back even IPL was not confirmed, and now you can enjoy IPL at your home and that too for free. Jio can announce this officially anytime soon.
Hotstar, is the official streaming partner for the IPL. The company has decided to move the match live streams behind a paywall this season. For watching these matches live, you will have to subscribe to Disney+ Hotstar’s VIP plan. Anyone who is not subscribed to Disney+ Hotstar will be able to see the IPL 2020 streaming for just five minutes which is just like a demo session.
Jio plans priced at Rs 401 and Rs 2,599 will provide users with access to free IPL 2020 Live streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
The Jio plan of Rs 401 provides 3GB data per day for 28 days and also an extra 6GB on top of the daily limit. The plan also gives free calling within Jio network and 1,000 calling minutes to other networks. It also gives 100 SMS per day. And access to Jio apps like Jio Cinema, Jio TV, Jio Saavn, JioNews, and complimentary subscription to Disney+ Hotstar VIP.
The Rs 2,599 annual Jio plan comes with 2GB data per day for 365 days. And an additional 10GB over and above the daily limit. It gives free calling within the Jio network and 12,000 calling minutes to other networks. Also, it gives 100 SMS per day. And free access to Jio apps like Jio Cinema, Jio TV, Jio Saavn, JioNews and others. It gives a one-year subscription to Disney+ Hotstar.
Along with Jio plans, JioFiber customers who are on the existing ₹849 silver plan, or any other higher plan, can stream the IPL 2020 matches on their devices. The plans offer annual subscription to Disney+ Hotstar VIP content.
