RedmiBook Pro & RedmiBook e-Learning Edition launched in India: Price and Specifications

Redmi launched its latest laptop, namely the RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-learning edition, in India. Both laptops are marketed in such a way that they target two different audiences. The RedmiBook Pro is targeted more towards working professionals, whereas the RedmiBook e-learning edition targets students more. Both the laptops come equipped with Windows 10 Home & Microsoft Office Home & Student version 2019.

The laptops would be available in a Charcoal grey color variant and would be going on sale from August 6th. Indian consumers can purchase the product exclusively on Flipkart,, and Mi physical stores. People purchasing the RedmiBook Pro with an HDFC card can also get an Rs. 3,500 discount on the purchase. And an Rs. 2,500 discount on the purchase of the RedmiBook e-Learning Edition.

Additionally, both the laptops come pre-installed with the Mi Smart Share app, making it easier to share files across Mi devices.

RedmiBook Pro Price & Specifications:

The “Pro” comes with a 15.6-inch FHD display and a keyboard that provides a smooth travel of 1.5mm. The laptop runs on an 11th-generation Intel Core i5 that can provide clock speeds up to 4.4GHz. In the Graphics section, the RedmiBook Pro comes equipped with an Intel Iris Xe GPU. Additionally, the storage options of the RedmiBook Pro include a 512GB NVMe SSD and an 8GB DDR4 RAM. Xiaomi also claims that the RedmiBook Pro can boot up in less than 12 seconds, making it super fast, especially for a budget laptop.

The RedmiBook Pro provides a battery life of 10 hours with a single charge, which is pretty good. The laptop comes with two 2W speakers with DTS Audio that can be enhanced through the DTS Audio App in the audio section. Alongside that, the laptop also comes with a 720p webcam that can be used for video calls & conferences.

In other features, the RedmiBook Pro comes with connectivity options like Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 5 support, two USB 3.2, and one USB 2.0. It also houses a 3.5mm headphone jack alongside an HDMI output port and a Gigabit Ethernet port.

The RedmiBook Pro is priced at Rs. 49,999 for only 8GB RAM plus 512GB NVMe SSD storage comes in only one color option. Putting the laptop in the mid-range category.

RedmiBook e-Learning Edition Price & Specifications:

The e-Learning Edition comes with the same OS and 15.6-inch FHD display, like the “Pro.” However, it runs a different processor, namely the 11th-generation Intel Core i3-1115G4 Processor, which can provide clock speeds up to 4.1GHz.

The e-Learning edition also carries the same features, like the 10-hour long battery life, 2W stereo speakers with DTS Audio, and similar connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, similar USB ports, and an HDMI output port.

The only difference in the e-Learning edition is that it is available in two storage options, which are 8GB RAM plus 256GB NVMe SSD storage and 8GB RAM plus 512GB NVMe SSD storage. The e-Learning Edition is also priced slightly cheaper than the RedmiBook Pro, at Rs. 41,999 for the 256GB model, and Rs. 44,999 for the 512GB model.

Both the laptops come under the mid-range category and come equipped with decent features, which are perfect for professional use.
