There is a piece of news rolling out recently about the Redmi note 8. Soon, you will see Xiaomi relaunching its Redmi Note 8 as a 2021 edition. If you like the Redmi Note series, if you have used Redmi Note 8 Pro, it’s interesting that this phone would be relaunched again as the 2021 edition with some new features and specifications. There will be some new specifications added to this phone as compared to its earlier version. This would be a similar phone, but some internal changes would be made to this phone, and the pricing would be aggressive.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 was spotted online when Mukul Sharma mentioned this phone on his Twitter handle. He tweeted, “Redmi Note 8 2021 edition visits FCC certification. Will feature MIUI 12.5 out of the box and will have a 4000mAh battery”. Now, some people might be wondering why did Redmi decide to relaunch this phone when it already has higher versions of the Note series?” Now the answer to this question, in my opinion, is, there might be some stock of Redmi Note 8 Pro left that would be unsold. That’s why the company might be planning to modify some of its features and sell the phone to clear its remaining stocks. Another possibility is that Xiaomi might be thinking of upgrading this mid-range device so that the Note series gains popularity again. The relaunch can be a great success as the Redmi Note series is quite popular in India, and the Note 8 is at the peak. You could get some decent specifications in this phone and might be in killer pricing.
Except for rumours and leaks regarding its specifications and price, it is also confirmed that the phone would support Bluetooth 5.2. The listing on Bluetooth SIG reveals that the phone has the model number M1908C3JGG. It will support Bluetooth 5.2 and run MIUI 12.5. The phone is expected to run with Android 11.
This FCC listing further claims that the phone would have MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. It would have the same camera and storage options, and the battery would be upgraded to 4000mAh and 22.5W fast charging. This phone is expected to be launched in the upcoming months and would show some massive changes compared to its earlier edition.
