After rebranding it and launching in Russia, the Redmi Note 10T 5G is now set to launch in the country on July 20th. This is the first smartphone in the Redmi Note series which will contain and LCD display as all other devices in the Note series feature an AMOLED display. The company had been hinting at a new launch for quite a while now and finally, they have announced that the Redmi Note 10T 5G will go live on Amazon in India on July 20. This smartphone will be the first 5G device of the company that it has launched in the country.
Redmi took to social media to make this announcement and the teaser reveals that the phone will feature a tiny punch hole on the notch display and the camera module resides on the top left corner of the smartphone. Xiaomi head of communications also appeared on video for the announcement of the smartphone. To showcase the smartphone and its design, the company has also created a microsite which the audience can view.
In terms of the expected specifications, the smartphone will run on Android 11 with MIUI on top and is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. It will contain a 6GB RAM along with 128GB of internal storage option. It will also feature a 6.5 inch FHD+ display with 1080×2400 pixels with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Connectivity features include LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC, USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone supports 18W fast charging with a 5000mAh battery. It also contains a side mounted finger print sensor.
In terms of the camera, it will pack a triple rear camera setup where it includes a 48MP primary shooter with an f/1.79 lens, a 2MP macro shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. For the selfies, the phone packs a 8MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
There has been no official communication or announcement regarding to the price of the smartphone in India. However, it was launched at Rs. 20,000 in Russia and considering the fact that the phone is going to be almost identical to the Russian version, we can assume that the price in India could be around Rs 15,000.
