Redmi K30 Ultra launched with Dimensity 1000+ SoC and 120Hz Display

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra and Redmi K30 Ultra have been much awaited since the past 2 months. Rumours and Leaks of design and specifications have been going around on the Internet these past days. Now, this wait is over because Xiaomi has finally released the K30 Ultra officially. The specifications for this device are really appealing as there are many features that are distinctive and rare.

Starting off with the processor, The Redmi K30 Ultra would have the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC. This processor itself plays a vital role in the improvement of the network, better picture qualities and improvement in other qualities of the display. The company, Xiaomi has smartly selected this processor as its specification sheet is incredibly unique.

Battery & Charging Speed

Xiaomi, as always, never disappoints in terms of the battery. Therefore, the K30 Ultra houses a huge 4500mAh battery. This battery is said to last a user for approximately 20 hours! There is also a 33W fast charging support enabled in the phone.

The display on this device is huge! With a 6.62-inch display, the screen on this device is considered among the phones with large displays. It features a beautiful Samsung AMOLED True Full Screen Display. By true, it means that this device does not have a notch at the top. The front is only occupied by the display which increases the viewing area of a user.

If you have read our earlier articles or have the knowledge of what refresh rate is, you would know that 120Hz of refresh rate is available only in some devices. Well, the Redmi K30 Ultra has also entered that list. The display also features a 360-degrees ambient light sensor.

The placement of the fingerprint sensor is not specified in the details. But, seeing the design of the phone, it can be safely assumed that the scanner would either be present on the side button or embedded inside the screen. The possibility of the latter taking place is higher though.

The next thing that we talk about is the camera. The Redmi K30 Ultra has a 20-MP pop-up front camera. The back consists of four camera lenses, beautifully arranged in a circle. These lenses consist of a 64MP primary camera, a 13-MP telephoto lens, a 5-MP macro lens and lastly the 2-MP lens that has the All-Scenario Imaging system in it.

The Redmi K30 Ultra will obviously have the latest Android 10 coupled with the company’s own MIUI 12. There are dual stereo speakers on the device. A usual linear vibration motor and an IR blaster that allows your phone to send signals to other devices, for example, your set-up box.

The Redmi K30 Ultra has a very appealing spec sheet for its low price. It is presumed (According China Price) that the device would be available at a starting price of Rs. 22,000. For features like this, the price of this phone is reasonable. But, in the Indian market, Redmi 9, Samsung M-Series are also available with features somewhat like this. Not exactly the same, but they provide the users with the features they look out for. So, the only reason to buy this id-ranged priced phone is if you want to try something new. Whether it will be able to compete Samsung M-Series in the wave of Make in India campaign is the question here….
