Realme is planning to launch the Realme X7 Max 5G smartphone and 4K Android televisions in India on May 31 at 12:30 p.m. via a virtual event. Earlier, the brand had plans to launch the mobile on May 4, but due to the havoc created by the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic in India, it had delayed the launch.
The smartphones will be available at a price of Rs. 24,990 and it will feature three colour options – Mercury Silver, Asteroid Black, and Milky Way. As per various leaks and rumours, the smartphone is 8.4mm thick and weighs 179 grams. As far as the storage is concerned, it will have two internal storage options – 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage.
The leaks have also revealed that the mobile will have a 6.43″ Full-HD + Super AMOLED screen display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will house a 4500mAh battery with 50W charging. The smartphone will be supported by Dimensity 1200 SoC. Other specifications include in-screen fingerprint reader, NFC and stereo speakers. It will also feature a triple camera setup on the rear comprising 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor with a 16 MP selfie camera at the front.
Realme is also planning to launch its new Smart TV 4K in 43″ and 50″ screen sizes alongside the X7 Max 5G at the event. As per reports, both televisions will support Dolby Cinema specifically Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos standards and will come with a voice assistant. The company has upgraded the features of its TVs as this year’s launch will support 4K resolution while the television launched last year with a 43-inch display supported a maximum resolution of 1080p. More details are expected to be revealed by the company regarding both the products at the launch.
