Realme has launched Realme Narzo 30 today, at 9:30 a.m. IST in Malaysia. The smartphone is a successor to the Narzo 20 that was launched in September last year and has made its debut in a virtual event that was live streamed on the company’s Facebook page. With the launch of the Realme Narzo 30, it becomes the latest addition to the Narzo 30 series which offers two other smartphones namely – the Realme Narzo 30 Pro and the Realme Narzo 30A.
Understandably, the new Narzo 30 fits in between the costlier Narzo Pro and the less expensive Narzo 30A. It has been confirmed that Narzo 30 will be launched in India as well as earlier both the smartphones of Narzo 30 series were launched too – The pro and 30 A, but the launch date is still unclear as of now. There are also media reports that the company is keen to launch both 4G and 5G versions of the smartphone in India. The price of Narzo 30 is RM 799 (approximately Rs 14,160) in Malaysia but it is speculated that its price in India is likely to be Rs 10,999 and it will be available in black color.
Realme Narzo 30 comes with a 5000mAh battery with support for 30W Dart Charge fast charging and features a 6.5-inch 90 Hz refresh rate, full-HD display with IPS LCD technology with a peak brightness of 580 nits and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The Realme Narzo 30 has a thickness of 9.5mm and weighs 185 grams.
The phone supports MediaTek Helio G95 SoC chipset and an octa-core CPU cluster (2 GHz, Dual core, Cortex A75 + 2 GHz, Hexa Core, Cortex A55) processor that powers the smartphone. Also it is supported by Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0. The variant which has been launched in Malaysia today has a 6GB+128GB storage configuration.
The Narzo 30 has been equipped with a triple-camera setup on the rear side with a 48 MP primary camera which can record 4K videos at 30 fps, 2MP monochrome sensor and a 2MP macro lens. On the front side, a 16 MP selfie camera can record full-HD videos at 30 fps has been provided. A punch-hole has been mounted to the top left corner of the screen for the front-facing camera.
The smartphone sports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and has two SIM card slots with inclusion of a microSD card slot. It supports Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity as well. Other connectivity features in the smartphone include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Volte and more.
