Realme has been currently working on a smartphone that will be one of its kind. The Realme Flash will be the first android smartphone to support magnetic wireless charging. According to GSMarena, the smartphone will support MagDart wireless magnetic charging. This is a big feat for Realme, as they are entirely revolutionizing wireless charging in smartphones.
The MagDart charger will function as a wireless charger that will attach itself to the backside of the device and can provide extra battery capacity to the phone. This form of technology is similar to Apple’s MagSafe technology, which functions similarly but has minor differences from what Realme plans to launch. More reports reveal that the magnetic charger will be the fastest ever magnetic charger, providing up to 15W of charging power.
Realme Flash looks pretty exciting with this particular feature, as this makes the lives of consumers more convenient and comfortable, as they can charge their phones on the go. The magnetic charging technology was exclusive to iOS users initially. However, even Android users will now experience it, all credit to Redmi for integrating the hardware into their Android-powered phone.
Realme India’s official Twitter handle also put out a Tweet implying the launch of the phone. The tweet mentions that a newcomer, being a new smartphone from Realme, is on its way to sweep you off your feet. The Tweet also hints at the name of the Realme Flash by mentioning ‘Flash’ quite a few times in the Tweet. Unfortunately, there has been no other official news on the launch date and smartphone specifications.
Thankfully, GSMarena has revealed a few renders and specifications of the upcoming Realme Flash. The magnetic charger of the phone is shaped like a slim box and comes with an internal fan. Other than that, some of the critical specifications of the phone include a punch-hole display, a triple camera setup. However, there have been no updates regarding the camera specifications. Apart from that, the phone runs on Realme UI 2.0, which is based on Android 11.
In addition, the chipset that the phone will use is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, paired with the storage option of 12GB RAM plus 256GB storage. That is all that there is regarding the specifications that have been leaked. Concludingly, there has been no official news regarding the launch date and the price of the Realme Flash, but the launch is right around the corner as the company has been teasing the launch quite a lot. The Realme Flash looks very promising and is bringing an innovative concept into the Android markets. Keep your eyes peeled for more information regarding the Flash.
