Realme 10W Wireless Charger Launched in India- What to expect?

Realme has officially launched its very own 10W wireless charger in India. The device can deliver up to 10W power when connected with a Quick Charge 2.0 or Quick Charge 3.0 charging adapter. In addition to this, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth, announced by tweeting on Twitter the arrival of the 65W and 50W Realme Ultra-thin SuperDart Charger models in the country. Also, he posted an image showing the new compact designs of the chargers.

Specifications:

Realme 10W Wireless Charger has been listed on the Realme India site. According to the listing, the Wireless Charger is available in Grey colour option. The charging pad will come with a Soft Scrub Paint coating on top. This will help to protect against accidental slip offs. The pad has a circular design and is 9mm thick and can also detect foreign objects placed on it. That means, the device will automatically turn off when it detects keys, credit cards, and any other metal objects placed on it. And it has a transmission distance of less than or equal to 5mm. It is based on the universally accepted Qi charging standard.  The charger will help to charge not only smart phones, but also wearables. It will also charge the Realme Buds Air, that supports wireless charging.

The device will come with a USB Type-C port that will enable both 10W and 18W input. Along with this, it can also provide up to 7.5W output for charging an iPhone model. That suggests, the device can work on Non-Realme smart phones too. The company is yet to launch a smartphone that supports wireless charging. Maybe it will be the company’s next product in the market. The device also features multiple-layer security that changes the output power automatically after the device is fully charged. This means, you can now leave your phone or other devices on charge during night. And when you wake up, you will find it to be fully charged. So, this can prove a multi-functional charger.

The device will come with a 50cm charger cable. As for now, the charger is available for sale only on Realme India site. But soon it will be available for sale on other e-commerce sites and in stores. The price of the device is Rs.899. However, in the era of fast charging, is 10W power enough? Now, it will be interesting to see when 65W and 50W Realme Ultra-thin SuperDart Charger models will come into the country.
