POCO M3 Pro 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and 90Hz display launched

Back in January 2020, POCO India, previously known as POCO by Xiaomi and Pocophone became independent. On Feb 2nd this year, POCO launched POCO M3 in India. Now, the company has launched POCO M3 Pro 5G as the successor of POCO M3, through a virtual event on June 8, 2021. POCO has launched this PRO model after weeks of its global premiere. This new smart device comes with a number of improvements, the most noteworthy of which is that now it supports 5G connectivity. Starting Price of this POCO product is Rs. 13,999.

Poco M3 Pro 5G comes in two different variants; the 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage model of the Poco M3 Pro 5G will cost Rs. 13,999, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant would cost Rs. 15,999. Cool Blue, Power Black, and Yellow are the three color options for the phone. It will be available for purchase on Flipkart starting June 14 at 12 p.m. (noon), customers may get RS 500 discount on both storage options as part of an early bird deal for one day. After this discount the 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variant will set you back at Rs. 13,499, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage model will cost you only Rs. 15,499.

In terms of specifications, the Poco M3 Pro 5G’s global and Indian models are similar. This dual sim PRO model runs MIUI 12 based on Android 11. It has a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ LCD display with a brightness of up to 1100 nits, a 90Hz refresh rate with Dynamic Switch, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. This 5G smartphone weighs 190 grams. The Phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, with Mali-G57 MC2 integrated GPU, up to 6GB RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage that is extendable with a microSD card. 

It has a triple rear camera module in rectangular form. A 48-megapixel main sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera for close-up images are all included in the camera system. For selfies and video calls, there’s an 8-megapixel camera on the front. Full-HD recording at 30 frames per second is supported by both the front and back cameras. A 5,000mAh battery powers the phone, which supports 18W rapid charging.
