A few weeks ago, POCO India’s country director, Anuj Sharma shared a short video on his Twitter handle revealing that the company’s upcoming smartphone POCO F3 GT will be getting launched in the third quarter of 2021. Now, according to a new report, the POCO F3 GT will launch in India in August 2021.
The device launch timeline was tipped by 91mobiles. As per the report, the POCO F3 GT launch will happen in early August probably in the first 10 days of the month. Moreover, 91mobiles also suggested that the Chinese company will soon start promoting its upcoming F3 GT smartphone. However, POCO India has not officially confirmed these reports yet.
The POCO F3 GT is expected to come with a 6.67-inch OLED HDR+ display supported by a refresh rate of 120Hz and a screen resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. Moreover, according to some reports leaked in the past, the smartphone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 MT6893 processor and runs on Android 11 based MIUI OS. The smartphone is likely to come with 6GB/8GB RAM options and 128GB/256GB of storage options, which might not support further MicroSD expansion. The smartphone might be backed up by a 5,065mAh supported by 67W fast charging.
Talking about the camera, The POCO F3 GT sports a triple camera setup at the rear consisting of a 64MP primary sensor, 8MP wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. At the front, a 16MP sensor supports selfies and video calls.
The device is also speculated to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition smartphone which was launched in China earlier this year at a starting price of CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs. 23,000). Considering this, we can expect the POCO F3 GT to be priced from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000.
As the smartphone leaks are already creating a buzz in the Indian market, it is safe to think that POCO India will soon start teasing its POCO F3 GT.
