Oppo has released a new limited edition smartphone of the Oppo Reno 4 Pro in China that goes by the name Oppo Reno 4 Pro Artist Limited Edition. The Oppo Reno 4 Pro already had five different colors on it. The phone is brought by Oppo in collaboration with Taiwanese-American artist James Jean. The phone features a special art work on the back panel that makes it special for the limited edition.
Design:
The special paintjob on the back panel that depicts “Summer Carnival of Dreams” and features mythical creatures like unicorns, is so good looking and was created by James Jean, the famous Taiwanese-American visual artist working primarily in painting and drawing and is popular and well known for the cover art for Marvel and DC Comics as well as poster art for movies such as The Shape of Water, Mother! and Blade Runner 2049.
The design is based on the project called SoleLuna (Sun and Moon in Latin). It has the SoleLuna logo on the back along with some drawings of magical creatures, depicted through the artist’s imagination. People who have a good taste in Art might really like the Design on the phone. The phone also comes with two new UI themes in it to enhance the looks of the phone.
Specifications:
The specifications of the Oppo Reno 4 Pro Artist Limited Edition are the same as the Oppo Reno 4 Pro, the major difference is in the Design of the Phone with the engraved artwork on the Anti Glare rear glass. There is also a difference in the RAM, the limited edition phone comes with a 12GB RAM and 256GB in-built storage while the original model comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM.
It features a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display that supports 90Hz of screen refresh rate. The phone is Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC that is paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB ROM as mentioned earlier.
Camera:
Coming to the optics, the same like the Oppo Reno 4 Pro has a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and a 13-megapixel telephoto camera. There is a laser detection autofocus support along with laser detection autofocus for precise and quick focusing. There is a 32-megapixel selfie camera housed in the hole-punch notch screen.
The phone runs on the ColorOS 7.2 based on the Android 10 version, the OS being exclusive for Reno 4 Pro 5G phones. Inside the phone there is a 4000mAh battery that supports the 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging. The box contents such as earphones, case, and the 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charger are also themed after the painting.
Price and availability:
The phone is priced at CNY 4,299 (roughly Rs. 46,300) only in a 12GB + 256GB storage model , in Silver color. Two customized themes will be sold only in China as of now , there is no information at all about the global market release.
