The launch event of the OnePlus Nord has been an amazing event ever. They launched the device using the AR technology with which we can sit in our home on the best seat and enjoy the launch. They had different platforms for us to experience the AR launch and also to those who couldn’t , they took the help of the famous YouTuber Unbox Therapy who live streamed on YouTube. Company launched two gadgets in their entire AR event and that is OnePlus Nord and OnePlus Buds.
OnePlus Nord
OnePlus has kept their tagline which says “Never Settle” as it seems that they didn’t settle on any bit of a feature on the NORD.
“Pretty much everything you need”
The best of android UI which is the oxygen os isn’t a dream anymore people , as OnePlus brought it’s latest budget phone with all the essential features into one phone , the price starting from ₹.24,999 for a 64gb+6gb variant.
The device is 5G ready upto 3.38Gbps of speed, so it’s 5G that’s late to india.
Display
I would like to start with the favourite and important part of the phone , the display. It has got a bigger display of size 16.36 centimeters (6.44 inches) with a resolution 2400×1080 pixels 408ppi. It has the fluid AMOLED display with added 90hz screen refresh rate to add the buttery flow on your screen.
Camera
As OnePlus says “Nord’s main camera is stolen” and yes , they have put the same main camera of the OnePlus 8 .
A 48mp Sony IMX586 sensor with both EIS , OIS main camera, 8mp ultra wide angle with a 119° field of view , 5mp depth lens and a 2mp macro lens ( pretty much the all in one quad camera, isn’t it?). The features are as follows:CINE aspect ratio video recording, UltraShot HDR, Nightscape, Super macro, Portrait, Pro mode, Panorama, AI scene detection, RAW image, Filters, Quick share.
The front camera features a 32mp Sony IMX616 sensor and an 8mp ultra wide angle with 105° field of view. So no compromises on the favorite groupfies anymore.
Face unlock, HDR, Screen flash, Face retouching, Filters, Ultra wide selfie
Additionally , the most required feature is here : front facing 4k recording upto 60fps. That is surely a game changer. So now you will want to take a selfie every time you see your phone.
Charging Technology
The device gets to 70% of battery right from 0% just in 30 minutes of time by using the warp charge 30T. So you can plug-in your phone while driving to work and you are all set for the day with a battery capacity of 4115mAh.
The phone is all set for open sale on August 4 , 12P.M. IST . It has two different colors , the unique Blue Marble and the gray onyx.
Price
It has released three different variants as follows:
- 6GB + 64GB for a price of ₹24,999 (Grey color only and will arrive on September)
- 8GB + 128GB for a price of ₹27,999 / £379
- 12GB + 256GB for a price of ₹29,999 / £469
The phone is all set for open sale on 4th of August at 12P.M. IST.Currently only the 128gb+8gb and 256gb+12gb are going to be on sale and the 64gb+6gb Variant will be available from September as stated by OnePlus.
OnePlus Buds
Along with the NORD OnePlus has also launched it’s TWS buds namely OnePlus buds with an unbelievably low cost of ₹.4990. It’s a competitor to the high in cost Apple’s airpods and Google’s pixel buds.
The three colors White/Gray/Nord Blue. The bundled case gives you a battery of upto 30hours . You can go upto 7 hours of uninterrupted music with one full charge.
The buds feature the Environmental noise cancellation and a low latency mode with a powerful bass. There’s an additional feature of Intuitive taps which lets you control the music giving you a total wireless experience.
With the quick connect feature, you can connect it to your device easily. It’s encased with IPX4 splash resistance so you can workout as much as you can without worrying about how to clean.
Quiet a good stuff man !
But actually i have a question regarding these memes coming out that recent users who bought Oneplus 7 or 8 are disappointed !?
Both the OnePlus 7 and 8 have got a better chipset… Snapdragon 800 series.. so if someone wants so much better performance then 8 series is better than nord but with a little more price.
