OnePlus Nord 2 leaked renders reveal triple rear cameras, punch hole display and more

Chinese smartphone company, OnePlus is expected to launch its new flagship smartphone, the OnePlus Nord 2 in July. The new arrival as its name suggests, will be a sequel to the OnePlus Nord launched last year. For a long time, spec rumours about the Nord 2 are constantly surfacing on the internet. Now, design renders about the OnePlus Nord 2 have also arrived on the 91mobiles site. As these renders are just made up on previous prototype CAD and insights, there is a possibility that the Nord 2 designs can be slightly different from what the renders suggest.

Looking at surfaced renders, the body design of the OnePlus Nord 2 is quite similar to the OnePlus 9 series smartphones. The smartphone comes with a punch-hole cutout on the front for selfie-snapping and features a narrow bezel design. The right side of the smartphone houses the power button as well as the alert slider, whereas, on the left side, there is a volume button.

At the bottom, resides a USB Type-C port, a SIM tray, and a speaker grille. The OnePlus Nord 2 sports a triple camera setup on the back with an LED flash, all arranged in a rectangular interface. The OnePlus Nord 2 renders revealed on the 91 Mobile, shows the smartphone in Green colour, but we can expect other colour options too. The expected dimensions for the device are approximately 160×73.8×8.1 mm.

According to some expected specifications reported earlier, the Nord 2 might come with a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display supported by a refresh rate of 90Hz. For security, it is likely to have an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone might be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor and run on 12GB RAM coupled with 256GB of storage. Also, the smartphone is expected to come with Android 11 OS out of the box.

On the rear, it is expected to have a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary, an 8MP secondary, and a 2MP macro sensor. Whereas on the front, probably a 32MP sensor will capture selfies. The smartphone is said to be backed up by a 4,500mAh battery that will be supported by either a 30W or 65W fast charging.

The OnePlus Nord 2 is supposed to arrive in the market somewhere in July. However, the exact price and launch date are yet to be revealed by the company.
