The UK division of OnePlus has accidentally confirmed the existence of OnePlus Nord 2 on its official website which suggests its imminent launch as well. The name of the rumoured device ‘OnePlus Nord 2’ was spotted by Android Police in the FAQ section of the website. With this, all the details about the device revealed earlier through leaks appear to be spot on so far with a recent leak suggesting the launch of OnePlus Nord 2, the successor to Nord N10, on June 10 while the other Nord mobile, the Nord CE 5G is rumoured to get launched on June 25 in India.
Though the brand has not revealed any details about the specifications of the OnePlus Nord 2 yet, the leaks suggest that it will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Other specifications are a high refresh rate AMOLED display, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an LED flash inside the rectangular camera module, fast charging support and either a 48MP or 64MP quad-camera system. As speculated by various reports, the smartphone will also feature a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a glossy finish on the back and will have a plastic rear panel surrounded by a metal frame.
The Nord CE 5G, the successor to Nord N10 5G, is speculated to be unveiled on June 25 and earlier this year leaks had revealed some of its features like a 6.49-inch display with a hole-punch cutout, flat screen surrounded by a thin side and top bezels.
Overall, the awaited OnePlus Nord 2 would be launched by mid-June in some specific markets which includes India alongside the OnePlus Nord CE 5G. Still more details are expected to be released by the company in an official statement in the upcoming weeks.
