Definitely your first concern – The Price

Well, when it comes to price, I’m pretty sure OnePlus Buds Earphones are not going to put a hole in your wallet as compared to the pricey Apple AirPods. On one hand, OnePlus Buds Earphones cost $79 / ₹4,990 (Check), while on the other the Apple Airpods costs $159 / ₹14,900 (Check) and that’s definitely a big deal. Now the point comes, is the sound as good as the price in OnePlus Buds Earphones? We’ll know that too.

Most Important: The Sound Quality

When we compare them from the sound point of view, Apple AirPods are indeed better. Apple AirPods give warm, loud, and lively music like ever. Although, OnePlus claims that they’ve put the base to make the sound better, still in no way they can compete AirPods sound quality.

How are they going to look in your ears – The Design

Talking about the design, we can say OnePlus Buds are somewhat least inspired by the Apple Airpods as they seem thicker than the Airpods. Being thicker makes them fit right in your ears unlike the Apple Airpods making you worried about their dropping off your ears. You feel that don’t you? OnePlus Buds have plastic inside instead of the silicon tips that add up to its list of qualities.

Do they have any official IP Ratings?

The happy news is OnePlus Earbuds have IPX4 that saves them from scratches or accidental water splash. But wait, even though Apple Airpods don’t have IP Rating, I accidentally put them in my tight pocket and they were absolutely fine. So let’s say both of them can survive a bit of water and sweat.

Are we getting color options?

We already know we have just one classic white color for Apple Airpods because obviously that’s APPLE. But, when it comes to OnePlus Buds we have three colors – White, Grey, and Blue.

Tap Controls

Coming on tap options, Apple AirPods gives you double-tap to control your music or bring up Siri. Whereas OnePlus not just gives you the double tap option, but also you can long-press the button to control your music or to activate the digital assistant in your OnePlus phone. The best and most convenient benefit that Apple has given to AirPods second generation is you can just say “Hey Siri” and Siri will be activated. On the contrary, OnePlus Buds don’t support that feature.

Battery Life

The battery is important, right? Well, both of them come with the charger but their battery life definitely differs. The AirPods lets you listen to music for up to 5 HOURS, while the OnePlus Buds lets you enjoy music for up to 7 HOURS. Let’s take the battery life with a charging case, here Apple gets the trophy as you get a total time of 24 HOURS, while with OnePlus Buds you get a total of 18 HOURS.

I know it’s hard to go against any of these as both are worth the purchase. So go ahead and make your decision.
