It was in March when OnePlus launched 3 smartphones in India under the OnePlus 9 series namely- OnePlus 9, 9 Pro and 9R and is soon going to blast off the OnePlus Nord 2. However, the leaks on the next OnePlus 9T smartphone under the T series have popped up. The OnePlus 9T will be the only T smartphone to be launched by the company in September this year.
The specifications and the expected duration of the launch of the OnePlus 9T 5G were asserted by a tipster on Twitter; @imailisa0825. The tipster not only detailed the rear camera fortification but also the new OS expected to be installed in the OnePlus 9T. As per the rumor the smartphone is scheduled to be introduced in Q3 2021 (July-September).
Furthermore, the leak claimed that the smartphone will have an Android 11 based Color OS 11 instead of Oxygen 11 for a reliable platform, the change in the OS can be a result of the merger of OnePlus with OPPO. The company, however, said that it will proceed with providing Oxygen 11 but later said that both the Color OS and Oxygen OS will have the same codebase. This is nonetheless a rumor and the company is yet to provide any official detail on featuring the Color OS 11.
The other stronghold it will have in comparison to the OnePlus 9 is the quad-camera setup on the rear side; the setup will be formulated by a union with Hasselblad. The primary sensor in the OnePlus 9T will be 108-megapixels and there will be 3 more sensors alongside this one which might include the telephoto camera and ultra-wide lens.
