Nothing has launched their first True Wireless earphones, namely the Nothing Ear 1. Nothing is a UK-based company backed by OnePlus Co-Founder Carl Pei. Being priced at a lower price, the Nothing Ear 1 carries premium TWS features, and the transparent look that it carries is phenomenal and gives a premium touch to the product. So the case of the earbuds is transparent, which is a basic design to enhance user experience. As the sole reason, the case is transparent so that a person carrying their earbuds can check if both the earbuds are secure in the case. Both the case and the earbuds have been made from clear plastic, giving the device a futuristic and minimal look.
Additionally, the earbuds also have a lightweight design to them, weighing around 4.7g per earbud because of the plastic design. The lightweight of the Nothing Ear 1 accompanied by the ergonomic design makes the Nothing Ear 1 a must for comfort.
Nothing Ear 1 earbuds also utilize USB Type-C and Qi wireless charging. The battery life of the earbuds is 5.7 hours which can be recharged for up to 34 hours in this case. The earbuds are also fast-charging enabled, giving it juice worth 8 hours after only 10 minutes of charging. The transparent design also lets the users see the charging status of the earbuds through an indicator light.
Apart from that, Nothing Ear 1 comes with 11.6mm dynamic drivers and supports Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The ANC of the earbuds is separated into two modes, the light mode, and the maximum mode. Another feature, namely transparency mode, lets the user hear their surroundings while using the earbuds. In addition, the Nothing Ear1 is IPX4 water-resistant, making it sweat and splash-resistant. The earbuds are also accompanied by touch controls on the side for convenient use.
The Nothing Ear 1 can be personalized furthermore with the Ear1 App available on iOS and Android. The app can let the user access settings like playback on in-ear detection, Eq settings, firmware upgrades, and much more.
