New leaks are now suggesting that the OnePlus Nord 2 which will be launched soon is just a rebranded version of the upcoming Realme smartphone namely the Realme X9 Pro which will be launched along with another Realme Smartphone – the Realme X7.
It is to be noted that according to several reports, the new Realme X9 Pro will be launched with two variants, one will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC chipset and would be released in China while the other variant will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 and it will be launched in the rest of global markets. Additionally, the leaks suggest that the new Nord 2 will just be similar to the latter variant with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor and will just be a rebranded version of the Realme X9 Pro.
The only difference between both of the smartphones that has been noticed yet is that of the software compatibility. While the Realme X9 Pro will support the Realme UI on the software front, the OnePlus Nord 2 will be compatible with the OxygenOS. Other than that most of the specifications and the features of the new Nord 2 would be very much similar to that of the X9 but some reports suggest that there might be few changes in the design of the OnePlus Nord 2 as compared to the Realme X9 Pro.
Recently a Chinese tipster claimed on the Chinese social media app Weibo that the Nord 2 is just a rebranded version of the Realme X9 Pro. The tipster who goes by the username Arsenal further wrote that the Nord 2 which will follow the global variant of the Realme X9 Pro will sport a flat screen with a Super AMOLED display as compared to the Chinese version of the Realme X9 Pro which will feature a curved screen display.
Another difference that has been pointed out is the positioning of the LED flash. The OnePlus Nord 2 will have the LED flash to the side of its third rear sensor while the Realme X9 Pro will feature the same near its topmost camera sensor.
Earlier, other leaks had given a hint about the specifications of the OnePlus Nord 2. The smartphone will likely feature a 6.5 inch Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It will also feature a 12GB RAM and storage of up to 256GB. It will house a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. As far as the camera is concerned, the mobile will have a triple camera setup at the rear wide camera sensor of 50MP, an ultra-wide sensor of 16MP and a macro sensor of 2MP. At the front the device will feature a 32MP selfie camera.
