Motorola Edge 20 series’ specifications leaked online
Evan Blass on his Twitter account @evleaks shared in detail the specifications of the upcoming Motorola models. Motorola is a company by Lenovo and is going to launch 4 smartphones in Edge 20 Series soon but ahead of the launch, the tweet by Evan Blass disclosed the specifications the phones are determined to have. Evan Blass in his tweet also mentioned that these smartphones are the descendants of the clan that appeared last year i.e. Motorola Edge and Motorola Edge+.
Motorola Edge Berlin NA (North America) Motorola Edge Kyoto, Motorola Edge Berlin and Motorola Edge Star are the phones to be launched by Motorola. The smartphone Motorola Edge Berlin NA is specifically designed to be sold in North America while Motorola Edge Berlin is going to be a global release. The reason why these models are suspected to be the next generation of the Motorola Edge 20 is that Motorola Edge Kyoto is tilted to be Motorola Edge 20 Lite which signals the other three to be next in the Edge 20 series. Here are the expected specifications of every model.
Motorola Edge Kyoto
Motorola Edge Kyoto or Motorola Edge 20 Lite will have a centred hole-punch selfie camera of 16megapixel, a display of 2,400×1,080 pixels with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The phone is believed to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC. The phone will be operated by Android 11 and will have a button, incredibly for Google Assistant. The rear side will have a triple camera layout of a 108-megapixel primary camera, 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Motorola Edge Kyoto will be available in two color variants Cosmo and Iron and the phone will house a 5,000mAh battery also it will have 8/6 GB of RAM with 128GB storage.
Motorola Edge PStar
Powered by a Snapdragon 870 SoC the Motorola Edge PStar will be operated by Android 11. It will have either 6,8 or 12 GB of RAM with an internal storage of either 128 or 256 GB. The display will be full HD with 2,400×1,080 pixels, the screen will be 6.67 inches. There will also be an under-screen fingerprint sensor and a button for Google assistant.
PStar will also have a triple camera setup of a 108-megapixel primary camera, a wide-angle lens with the macro mode of 16-megapixel and a telephoto lens of 8-megapixel to zoom in 5X, front selfie camera will be of 16-megapixel solely for the Chinese market but globally sold models will have 32-megapixel depth sensor. The phone will be available in three color choices-Blue, Black and White and is expected to have a 4,500 mAh battery.
Motorola Edge Berlin and Berlin NA
Motorola Edge Berlin NA will be obtainable only from Verizon markets and both of the models share a few identical specifications. Let’s discuss the differences first- The Motorola Edge Berlin NA will have 2,460×1,080 pixels full HD display of 6.78 inches and Berlin NA will house a battery of 5,000 mAh. The Motorola Edge Berlin will have a 2,400×1,080 pixels display of 6.67 inches and this smartphone to be launched globally will house a battery of 4,000mAh. Both of them share the same refresh rate that is 160Hz and will both moreover have a mono speaker arrangement.
There is one more difference in these models, the smartphone to come out worldwide will have a separate button for Google assistant while Motorola Edge Berlin NA will lack this spec. Also, Emerald, Stout and White are the color options mentioned in the leak for Motorola Edge Berlin while for the Motorola Edge Berlin NA there is no color detail as of yet.
Both of the models will run on Android 11 and will have a Snapdragon 778G SoC chipset alongside 8 GB of RAM with an internal storage of 256 GB. The models are supposed to hold a selfie camera of 32-megapixel and on the rear side will have a triple camera layout with a 108-megapixel primary sensor, a wide-angle lens with macro mode 16-megapixel and a telephoto lens for up to 3X zoom of 8-megapixel.
