Moto G9 Launched In India, with Snapdragon 622

Today, on the 24th of August, Motorola has started off a new timeline in its company. The Moto G9 sets forth the more-to-come Moto products that are going to be made in India. The Moto G8 launched 5 months ago did not enter the Indian market. This is the reason, the Lenovo-owned company unveiled the Moto G9 for the Indian market. This low-priced phone has some exciting features that would want you to go for it.

Camera

Starting off with the camera, the Moto G9 offers a triple rear camera setup. This includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 2-megapixel depth sensor and 2-megapixel macro setup. The primary camera though has something interesting. It is based on a Quad Pixel Technology. This technology is pretty difficult to understand where they are talking about pixels, RGB, and technical things. But in simple language, this is the latest camera technology in the market which came last year. This will just make your photography sessions amazing.

Talking about the Camera features, the Moto G9 will give you the classic Face Beauty, Manual Mode (where you can adjust the ISO and technical stuff like that (only for the PROS!)) and portrait mode. Along with this, Motorola has included a fun Auto smile capture where it will click the photo as soon as you smile so you do not hurt your cheekbones!

Display

The display might be a setback for those who want more futuristic screens. Although at a low price it is actually reasonable, the Moto G9 would have an 87 percent screen-to-body ratio. The phone would feature a 6.5-inch HD+ Max Vision TFT display. It is not bad for a price that is even below Rs 12,000. At such a low price you are getting almost everything and if one of the features is not up to the latest mark, it should not be an issue.

Processor and Software

The processor on this phone is the one which makes this phone stand out. It is easily understandable that this processor defines the Moto G9. The phone would have Qualcomm Snapdragon 662. This processor is also featured in Redmi but only Motorola and Redmi have used it till now. This SoC would be paired with the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. This can be expandable up to 512GB via SD card. The Moto G9 would obviously run on the latest Android 10.

Connectivity

The smartphone would not feature the latest 5G but it would include 4G VoLTE. Along with it, the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio and NFC will be available as the basic features. The phone would have a 3.5mm headphone jack along with a USB Type-C charging port.

Battery & Charging

The Moto G9 would have a 5,000mAh battery which will be able to support 20W fast charging. It is said to deliver up to two days of battery life on a single charge.

Sensors include the normal accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and a sar sensor. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Another thing interesting about this phone is the water-repellent design that it features.

The Moto G9 would give a tough competition to the low-range phones such as the Redmi, Samsung, Vivo, Oppo etc. It would be interesting to see if this phone would stand out from the crowd or not. But if it does, the only reason would be that it is Made in India. The phone is priced at Rs 11,499 and available on Flipkart. It comes in two colours, which are the Forest Green and Sapphire Blue.
