The Chinese smartphone manufacturer company, Xiaomi has announced its MIUI 12 a couple of months ago in April 2021, with new features such as Dark Mode 2.0, Super Wallpapers, new animations, and much more. Now, the corporation is expected to introduce its new firmware version MIUI 13 by August this year. The next MIUI upgrade is being internally tested, as stated by one of Xiaomi’s executives. However, the firm has kept mum on the exact date of the launch of the new software version.
At this instant, there is no official statement regarding the specifications of the new update of MIUI. The announcement of the MIUI upgrade doesn’t imply that the upgrade would be there on the firm’s handset so soon. The rollout will take some time as it will occur in phases, Chinese versions of gadgets will be given priority and then it’ll come out on the global platform. According to rumors, all models produced in the last two years would be able to get the upgraded version of MIUI.
This year, Xiaomi is also expected to unveil its first-ever sub-screen camera featuring the smartphone Mi Mix 4. Also, the new handset Mix 4 is anticipated to be the first smartphone to come with the new version of MIUI. As the announcement of MIUI 13 is scheduled for August 2021, one may anticipate that the launch of Mi Mix 4 can also come alongside.
In terms of specifications, this flagship handset from Xiaomi features a bezel-less 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a pixel density of 537 PPI and a screen resolution of 1,440 x 3,120 pixels. Corning gorilla glass is there to protect the screen. The base model of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will have 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. The gadget will be available in two color options i.e. Black and Gold. The Chinese handset is likely to cost Rs. 57,990 in India.
