Micromax on 73rd Independence day of India, August 15th, 2020 have hinted us with its comeback of manufacturing smartphones which targets on budget segment in India. It was announced on August by a teaser which quotes ‘are you ready to join the revolution with us? The smartphone series would be out on September, but due to some technical issues they were not able to do so.
Today on October 16th, Micromax have declared its products launch on first week of November, probably on November 2ndand with few details. Officially Micromax had announced its news on twitter today by Rahul Sharma. The co-founder of Micromax through posting a video on twitter about the premium smartphones with affordable price tag. One Note was the last smartphone Micromax have launched back in October 2019 at Rs 8,199.
Micromax along with Karbonn and Lava was the leading smartphone manufactures in India, but by the introduction of Xiaomi, Real mi, Oppo, and Vivo by China in India made a downfall in their production. In support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative, Atma Nirbhar; Micromax used various hashtags; #IndiaKeLiye, #MadeByIndia, #MadeForIndia, #BigAnnouncemnt, #MicromaxisBack. Through this we could see that companies are branding their “Made in India” badge proudly in order to wake Indo China tension.
Micromax is now ready to compete with China mobile makers like Xiaomi, Real mi, Oppo, and Vivo with its new brand launching ‘In’ Series. In todays two mins long video posted on twitter, Rahul Sharma disclosed about the companies journey so far and with some features of the upcoming smartphone. An Aqua colored box with ‘In’ written on it, was visually shown out in the video.
Micromax In expected Specifications
Micromax revealed that the ‘In’ series display would be 6.5 inchHD+ and available in two variants; 2GB RAM with 32GB storage and 3 GB RAM with 32GB storage with the latest Media Tek chipset; Helico G35 and Helcio G85 processor, backed up by 5000mAh battery which is run on Stock Android.
The 2GB ‘In’ series is having a dual rear camera with a combination of 13MP and 2MP sensors with 8MP front camera for chat and video calling. The 3GB variant phone with triple camera setup with a combination of 13MP and 5MP sensors with 13MP front selfie camera.
The Gurugram based tech company, Micromax would sell its product in two segments with affordable price tag: Rs 7,000 to 10,000 and Rs 20,000 to 25,000. The In series would be launched at the earlier of November and the next series would be launched at the end of the year 2020. Micromax would also launch connected devices including air conditioners.
