Xiaomi, a company that has predominantly dedicated its resources to smartphone development, has launched its latest notebook, the Mi Notebook Pro X. There are no updates on any other countries regarding the launch of the same as it has only been released officially in China. The laptop comes with an Intel 11th Generation chipset as the processing unit and an Nvidia GeForce GPU. The laptop sports a slim & trim design, which is lightweight and portable. The Mi Notebook Pro X offers the latest Intel 11th generation processors, which makes it a laptop that is blazingly fast along with RTX 3050ti GPU.
The RTX 3050Ti promises around a whopping 144Hz of refresh rate in online multiplayer games. This line of the Xiaomi laptops is the first to utilize Nvidia’s RTX GPUs. And provides solid performance scores compared to the previously used MX GPUs.
The Mi Notebook Pro X comes with two variants, one comes with an Intel 11th Gen Core i7-11370H and the other comes with an Intel 11th Gen Core i5-11300H. The former variant comes with a crazy 32GB RAM and 1TB NVME SSD, whereas the latter variant has 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD. Both the variants of the laptop come with an RTX 3050Ti. Both of the variants will be running Windows 10 Home.
Xiaomi’s previous devices came with an Intel 11th Gen Core i7-11370H CPU and an Nvidia GeForce MX450 GPU. However, the Mi Notebook Pro X sports a better GPU than these two laptops, as Pro X’s GPU is from the latest RTX series of Nvidia. The RTX 3050ti has solid ray-tracing capabilities—making the Mi Notebook Pro X a robust laptop that can also take on gaming processes and heavy software. But, again, this is a result of the 11th Generation Intel chips coupled with the Nvidia RTX 3050ti.
A 15.6 inch OLED Display that can support 3.5K resolution & 1ms response-rate, 32GB RAM+1TB SSD or 16GB Ram+512GB SSD options depending the variant of the laptop, Bluetooth 5.2 & Wi-Fi 6 for seamless wireless connectivity, RTX 3050Ti GPU, A finger-print Sensor, 720p Web Camera, 4 USB ports & 1 Thunderbolt 4.0 port, HDMI Output Port, Headphone & Mic Combo Jack.
The recently launched Mi Notebook Pro 15 and the Mi Notebook Pro 14 were priced around CNY 6499 (approximately Rs. 72,900) and CNY 5299 (approximately Rs. 59,400). Xiaomi has given information on the price of the laptop and it will be priced at RMB 7999 (approximately Rs. 92,000). Which is a big price tag, but the laptop also delivers a premium feel, look and performance when it comes to what it holds within.
There is still no official news on if the laptop will be launched in the Indian market or not. In addition, Xiaomi releases their laptops in India in quite a delayed manner.
Despite the thin design, the laptop promises to pack more features within and already comes with a strong CPU and GPU. The laptop will be available for purchase in China July 19th onwards. And help us understand how well it performs sales-wise in the Chinese premium laptop category.
