Mi 11 Lite, Xiaomi’s slimmest phone, may make its way to India.

Earlier in March this year, Xiaomi launched its Mi 11 Lite smartphone series globally in 5G & 4G models. And, now the brand is preparing to officially launch Mi 11 Lite in India.

Sumit Sonal, Marketing Lead at Xiaomi India, posted a tweet on Monday, that teased about the upcoming launch of Mi 11 Lite in India. Meanwhile, the tweet didn’t mention the device specifically, but the floating bar on water, however, hinted towards the expected. This smartphone is the slimmest smartphone by Xiaomi, with powerful hardware packed inside.

Even so, this device comes in two variants- 5G & 4G, we believe only the 4G variant will be launched in India.

Mi 11 Lite specifications:

It comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED Display, with 2400 X 1080 pixels resolution offering 90HZ refresh rate. The screen sports a punch-hole camera design at top-left corner with decent bezels around the corners. With 6.81mm dimensions & 157gms body weight, the phone is indeed the slimmest, lightest & powerful smartphone by Xiaomi.

Under that slim outer body, the 4G variant of this smartphone packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC and Adreno 618 GPU, put together with 6GB RAM & 128GB of UFS 2.2 Internal storage. Meanwhile, the 5G variant features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G processor + Adreno 642 GPU (but we won’t see much of that).

It runs on Android 11 build MIUI and is equipped with a 4,250mAh battery with 33W rapid charging support. It features a triple-camera system at rear including 64MP primary sensor + an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 5MP telephoto macro sensor, and a 20MP selfie shooter at front.

It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for easy unlock. Connectivity features include, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB Type-c port, GPS, Bluetooth & more. The device comes in 3 colour variants- Boba Black, Bubblegum Blue & Peach Pink.

Mi 11 Lite 4G is most likely to be launched around Mid-June in India. The smartphone is priced at EUR 299 in Europe, which is around Rs. 25,600 INR, so we can expect its price to be above than Rs. 20,000 in India.
