Lenovo launched Legion 7i, 5i Pro, 5i gaming laptops with 11th Gen Intel Core H-series CPUs.

Lenovo has announced its new range of upgraded gaming laptops including Legion 7i, Legion 5i Pro, Legion 5i and a new gaming monitor Legion Y25g-30 with 11th Gen Intel Core H-series CPUs. This announcement came soon after Intel announced its next-gen laptop processors i.e., 11th Gen Intel Core Tiger Lake-H series processors; which are manufactured using 10nm Super-Fin processors and offer 12-19% performance improvement.

This upgraded range of Lenovo Legion gaming laptops come with Windows 10, Thunderbolt 4 processor support, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and PCIe Gen 4.0. And, with NVIDIA GeForce RTX Laptop GPUs which includes NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 & 3ms keyboard response, these upgraded Legion gaming laptops, will surely take you to a new level of gaming experience.

Lenovo Legion 7i

Last year Lenovo launched its Legion 7i gaming laptop with regular 15.6 inch screen, 1080p display, Intel 10th Gen Comet Lake H series core processor powered with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20.

But this year, Lenovo has upgraded its Legion 7i with a changeover of Intel’s 11th Gen Tiger Lake-H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU options. As the company, Lenovo claims Legion 7i is the first of its kind 16-inch WQXGA IPS display gaming laptop with 16:10 aspect ratio & 165Hz refresh rate. It features Windows 10 pro, supports up to Intel i9-11980HK processor and comes with a 32 GB DDR4 RAM with up to 2TB PCIe SSD storage.

Its other features include 500 nits peak brightness, VESA Display HDR 400 certification, Dolby Vision Support, G-Sync support and Nahimic audio support. It weighs around 2.5 kg with 8 hours of gaming battery life. As said by the company Lenovo, Legion 7i will take its seat in the market from June, 2021.

Lenovo Legion 5i Pro and Legion 5i

Lenovo Legion 5i pro comes with a 16 inch one size screen, on the other hand Legion 5i comes in 2 models with 15.6 inch & 17 inch screen size. Even so, all of the 3 models features Windows 10pro, Legion 5i pro is equipped with a WQXGA IPS display & 165Hz screen refresh rate; 500 nits peak brightness, VESA Display HDR400 certification, Low Blue Light and 16:10 aspect ratio accounts for its other features.

The 15.6 inch 5i legion holds a WQHD IPS display with 165Hz screen refresh rate, with other features that includes 100 percent sRGB coverage, 300 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision Support and NVIDIA G-Sync support. However, the 17 inch Legion 5i comes with a Full-HD IPS display with 144 Hz screen refresh rate and a 72% NTSC coverage.

All of the above three models support up to an 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11800H CPU & NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 laptop GPU. On one hand Legion 5i pro and Legion 5i (with 15.6 inch screen size) comes with 8GB GDDR6 VRAM, on the other hand 17 inch screen Legion 5i model comes with 16GB DDR4 RAM.

The 15.6 inch screen model holds a 2 TB of M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD storage capacity, while the rest two holds 1TB PCIe SSD Gen 4 storage capacity with all three models having a 8 hours gaming battery life. Legion 5i pro will be available in June, 2021 while Legion 5i will come later in July, 2021.

This one comes with a Full HD IPS display with 360Hz screen refresh rate and 16:9 aspect ratio. It features 400 nits peak brightness, 1 ms response time and covers over 99 percent sRGB with 1,000:1 contrast ratio. Equipped to support NVIDIA G-sync and NVIDIA Reflex as well and is set to hit the market in October, 2021.
