Leica Leitz Phone 1 launched, here’s everything you need to know
Subsequently after back to back surprises from the world of technology now the camera lens making company Leica has entered the realm of smartphone production. There is a 6.6-inch UXGA display on the phone that has a resolution of 2760×1260 and a punch hole cutout in the center of the phone. The phone houses an internal storage of up to 256GB with 12GB RAM and with the assistance of an SD card the total storage can be expanded up to 1TB. The processor installed in the phone is Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and the phone is powered by Android 11.
The phone has a battery of 5,000mAh and the total weight of the phone is 212 grams and has the following measurements- 74x162x9.5mm. The phone has an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and also has a Face unlock system. The connectivity features of the phone are VoLTE, dual-band Wifi, C-type port and Bluetooth.
Now let’s move on to the key feature of the phone which is of more interest and that is the camera of the Leica Leitz Phone 1. The camera has a 12-megapixel sensor of one inch with a counterpart focal length of 19mm. In the front, there is a 12.6-megapixel selfie sensor and at the back, to take pictures in black and white there’s a distinct monochrome mode.
The price of the phone is 187,920 yen which will be 1,25,800 in Indian rupees. Leitz Phone 1, the first-ever phone by Leica has been launched in Japan only and will appear in the sales by July. There is only one color option available for the phone that is Leica Silver and the device has been enlisted on the SoftBank Site.
