iQOO Z3 5G is confirmed to be equipped with the Snapdragon 768G SoC
Chinese smartphone brand and manufacturer iQOO is set to launch its new smartphone iQOO Z3 5G on June 8. Earlier the smartphone had made its debut in China in March this year. The brand has also reportedly set up its page on Amazon so that interested users can be updated about the latest launches by the brand with the help of ‘notify me’ option which will give them a notification once the company launches any new device. The smartphone which is to be launched in India is similar to the one that was previously launched in China in March this year.
Tipster Debayan Roy has now revealed the prices of the mobile ahead of its launch in India via his Twitter handle @Gadgetsdata. As per the details provided by him, the iQOO Z3 5G will come in three storage variants namely, the 6GB RAM + 128GB, 8GB RAM + 128GB and the 8GB RAM + 256GB. These variants will be available at a price of Rs 20,990, Rs 21,990 and 23,990 respectively as per his tweet.

The new iQOO Z3 5G which has been dubbed as ‘Made for the Gen Z’ by the brand comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G SoC processor paired with an integrated Adreno 620 GPU, processor confirmed by the company. It runs on Android 11 based OriginOS and also supports dual 5G SIM cards. Moreover, it sports a display screen of 6.58-inch Full-HD + LCD with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.61. It also supports HDR and houses a battery of 4,400mAh with support for 55 W fast charging. It is also equipped with a USB port of type C to enable the charging process.
In terms of storage and memory specifications, it has 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage that can be further expanded up to 1 TB of memory with the help of a micro-SD card. As far as the connectivity specifications are concerned, the new iQoo Z3 5G features support for 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, bluetooth v5.1, GPS and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone has dimensions of 164 x 75.3 x 8.5 mm (6.46 x 2.96 x 0.33 in) and weighs around 185.5 g (6.56 oz).
The smartphone has a 16 MP wide angle sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 at the front for clicking selfies and attending video calls. As per various reports, the display screen sports a water drop style notch that houses the 16 MP single selfie camera. On the rear, there is a combination of three camera sensors that come inside a black-coloured rectangular module.
There is a 64 MP primary sensor which comes with a lens of an aperture of f/1.79. Then there is a 8 MP ultra-wide angle camera sensor with a lens aperture of f/2.2 and a 2 MP macro camera sensor with a lens of f/2.4 aperture as per the reports and leaks. The camera is accompanied with various modes like the night scene mode, the portrait mode, the dynamic photos mode, the panorama mode, the AR cute shot mode and the short videos mode. More details are expected to be revealed by the company at the launch.
